Okay so I have been thinking as of late. I have come to the conclusion that you can be interested in a bit of everything. Focus is key in your true profession. But it is always a good idea to have a rounded knowledge of who we are, where we have been and where are we going?
These are fundamental questions to understand who and what are purpose truly is.
As part of this journey I am trying to take inwards – having a positive outlook on life, which I very much am at the minute, I must understand the answers. If not answers then the best guess we have based upon the information we have.
As an addition to my website porfolio and YouTube portfolio, I want to add a new brand. WYDK (What You Don’t Know). I plan on this being a educational material site for aspects of life that I have questions about. Starting with History with the site named WYDK History.
The plan is to upload content about different periods of history. Am I a historian…
No.
But my brother is a history teacher. With him I will build out this brand ensuring that we have his expertise and my A grade in histoty A-Level – if that means anything to anyone nowadays.
WYDK History
The site has not been created. Nothing fancy at this stage I just wanted to get it live so we can start creating the content. Beacuse that is what truly matters, the fancy website can come later.
I also made the branding and the YouTube channel. I also secured the domain names for both .com and .co.uk for WYDK History. Further to that I secured WYDK.co.uk.
The idea is to use WYDK as a landing page and home hub for all of the eventual “sections of the encylopedia”. For now I will link WYDK History and add a placeholder for the next niche which I am thinking could be nature – as nature has always facinated me.
Plan Ahead for WYDK History
The plan is to take this site and turn it into a potential hub for educational courses and content that we can monetise. At this stage I am starting this for the soul purpose of finding information. I have always been the kind of person that would hear something and immeadiatly have to serach about it. The day we got an Alexa I just wouldn’t stop asking it questions.
So why not document this curious mind to use? Document what I find, and if others get value from it, that’sperfect. If not, I am creating something of value in my mind.
